This won't help, but my wife wanted a Pacifica back in 2006. We drove a 3.5L model and I thought it was a lama compared to other cars in the market. We waited. Chrysler announced a new 4.0L V6 for the 2007 model. It's basically a 3.5 with more stroke I believe. We bought a touring model and loved the it and the 4.0 under the hood. Yes, it is a timing belt engine. The only issue we had was the EGR valve. Other than that, 10 trouble free years, 140K miles. No issues with the timing valve.
