Ring with the solar panel has been working well for 2 years so far. I have another one that is a hardwired floodlight, and a couple that run off batteries. Those last a few months at a time, more in the warm, less in the winter of course. I keep a spare and rotate them and it’s no big deal. Have the door bell too.
