You need switch #2770380 it's variable speed not 3-speed like the 72-74. They will not interchange.

The 3 speed wiper and variable motors are the same. The wiring in the harness is the difference. If number matching isn't a a problem you can use the latter cheaper replacements. You just have to clock them to your car.
