Maybe a silly question, but wasn't this just a finish on the regular trim. Why not just scuff and spray wrinkle paint? Hard to believe they made "special" trim with a textured finish?
It was a stamped finish... Not the regular trim with a coating...71 Road Runner also had it available for its rear window... EDIT: Here's the "unrestored" trim from the listing..
