What size fuel line from the tank to the pump and what size fuel pickup in the tank? Is there a fuel filter between the tank and pump? If so what micron rating is it?
I learned long ago you can never have too much fuel delivery, unlike not quite having enough whiney work scope
If you can fatten the carb up enough to slow the MPH down in the 1/4 mile you have enough fuel delivery, if you can't, you don't shruggy
