Those numbers are no different than my 4 yr old Coyote and fuel economy will likely be similar.....so I don't see the point? Will they finally make a drop top? Doubtful. Laugh at my Mustang all you want but 465 hp, 25+ highway mpg and the top goes down. Pretty fun little summer toy!

15 more HP than the hemis they replace? Nice upgrade! They added about 500 places for stuff to leak, more sensors, solenoids, hoses and wires and intercoolers, stupid sound.... trust me it will be a nightmare to work on and not as reliable.

They didn't do it for the HP, the real reason they did it is to trick the EPAs MPG numbers and nothing else and real world MPG will be the same unless you drive EXACTLY how they drive it for the test then you will get one or two more MPG. That is exactly what ford did with the ecoboost debacle, it got very slightly better MPG in the EPA test but it is a nightmare to work on, no better than chevy, toyota or dodge in real world MPG and there are plenty of em on craigslist and facebook with bad engines but good used engines are hard to find and very expensive as a result.

All true and makes you wonder why they didnt just update the hemis. My 392 got 28mpg highway, could they not just put some silly 1.73 highway gear in them to trick the EPA? I am serious - like a gear vendors OD from the factory.
