These cars will need to be on duty for 8 hours and having take a break from your shift every few hours to charge your car is not an option for most departments which are already stretched thin.
Is it an 8 hour run time? I don't even know. We work 10 hour shifts, and I know several agencies that work 12 hour shifts. Seems like all kinds of issues with pure EV's. Idle times eating up more battery, high speeds, etc.
