If you're asking about NHRA SS look at their rules online and then call your local division tech line or the national tech department
I used to race a max wedge car in stock and knew several other M.W racers in SO CA that race in SS a long time ago, they had a maximum CC per port rule with stock size valves back then.
It is always best to go straight to the source in WRITING when getting opinions or interpretations on racing rules
I've heard of more than one NHRA racer getting screw around by a "tech" official saying 'I never said that" hence get it in writing
