i used a 2 1/2" hole saw to cut a 2 1/2" x 3" long window in the pipe sections. i guess this will be enough.
these sections are also just plain steel and will be painted. when done, this exhaust system will outlast me, so i saw no need to do it in stainless.
i will post a picture or two when i get this done.
not sure of what mufflers i will be using. as of now, my car has a pair of the original flowmasters, when they first started making them many years ago.
i have a pair of single chamber flowmasters on the shelf, and i'm thinking of maybe getting a pair of race bullets to try instead.
also, not sure if i want to put the mufflers in the standard place under the floor pan, or putting them at the rear of the car.
