I don't buy anything from Amazon. Especially something that can burn down my car or my shop, or kill me if it fails. It's like buying crap on the street from a guy in a trench coat.

Don't buy anything off brand. Or not made here. Hard to do with the small adapters and hard parts, but I still use only 2 or 3 manufacturers for any of it.

Don't mix hose ends and hose from different sources. Unless it is all known AN spec, and then it's a maybe.
