A lot of places have cut out group 24 and stock group 34 as it is same size length and width but is 1 inch shorter than a 24 but comes with a 1 inch spacer to make same hight as a group 24.
Saves them cost of sticking 24 and 34 and 24 is kinda obsolete.
This may be what you are encountering.
Just putting it out there that it is a new trend.
As out cars,get older even common consumables like starters are crossed over to mini starters. So a one size fits all kiinda deal on many parts sadly.
