68rrunner OP enthusiast 6 Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 270 Mountain View, CA	Did a quick search, didn't see much, So figured I'd ask.... Got a street 440, flat tops are .100 in the hole. Short block is used, but in good shape. Small unknown cam, 906's and factory iron 4bbl coming out/off, Hughes HUG SEH3642BL-8 hydraulic flat tappet going in, OOTB stealth's and an aluminum Eddy 4bbl manifold. The 440 source head gaskets (.051) are going to put me at 8.75:1 cr. I'd like to get into the .032-.027 range thickness, should net me a 9.07-9.15 cr. Will the Cometic MLS seal on a used deck for a street engine? Any thickness or type I should avoid?
