I think I would make it two piece, one that would attach under the rocker, maybe at the pinch weld, then extend out from under the rocker as far as needed, then bend down 90 degrees. The 2nd part would attach to the first part, then extend straight down as far as needed with a 45 - 90 degree bend back under the exhaust at the bottom. Mounting the 1st piece could be a pain, but I think it would look better.

What you have now looks like a quick coverup, and I don't like the idea of the visible screws into the rockers.
