No he isn’t. Race cars are prone to vibrations at different rpms than stock production vehicles. Then most of us add solid engine mounting and there’s nothing to absorb it. There is not one good reason NOT to use loctite. Carry on.


Been doing this over 50 years, never seen any bolts back out when torqued to specs. I suppose you Loc-Tite your rod bolts/nuts, head bolts, crank bolt, etc.?

But I do agree with you, no reason not to use it. Just not mandatory.
