The ICON 687KTD is likely the best "Forged" performance piston for the price.
ICON 687KTD 1.912" CH, -4.5cc valve/dome, 674 grams 1/16", 1/16", 3/16" ring pack. $664.99 (price includes piston rings)

This has a slight dome, but overall compression is not that high. with a 84cc head like an Edelbrock or open chamber stock head (usually > 84 cc chamber) and a 0.040" head gasket, compression ratio is only about 9.5:1

The Diamond 51900 is a real nice forged flat top piston, but also expensive at $1086.62 (price includes piston rings)
1.916" CH, and 4cc valve reliefs, so compression around 8.8482:1. Using a 0.020" head gasket bumps compression to around 9.2339:1
This would be a good choice if using heads with < 80 cc chambers.

The KB Hypereutectic are slightly less expensive (most listed prices do not include piston rings), but use the wider 5/64", 5/64", 3/16" ring pack
The KB 400 is sort of like the ICON 687, but compression height is less at 1.908", and dome is a bit larger so -6cc overall chamber difference. Overall the compression ratio is just a tad higher than the ICON 687. My sample calc = 9.5298:1 compared to the IC 687 = 9.4793:1
At only $376.99 This would be the best piston for the cost. For a mild build like yours, this would be a good choice if using head with 80+ cc chambers.

The KB 162 is a Flat Top piston. 1.908" CH, 5cc valve reliefs, so lower compression around 8.6131:1. 0.020" head gasket, around 8.995:1

The Compression ratio(s) assumes Block height of 9.980", 4.28" bore (0.030" over), 3.380" stroke, 6.358" rod, 9.764cc head gasket volume (about 0.040" thick), 84 cc cylinder head volume

The Speed-Pro 2315 would be the highest compression "Flat Top" piston, and is likely the heaviest piston choice. The lack of valve reliefs is not an issue with mild cams, but can be a problem with larger camshaft profiles.
CH is 1.920, and using same assumptions above Compression ratio = 9.2499:1
The Speed pro is $445.99 without rings, and rings might add another $100+ so around $100 less than the ICON piston, but the ICON had many more performance features.
