Understand completely. I retired on 30 September 2007. I was on my way out of Michigan heading to my new home in Tennessee on 1 October 2007. I only visit family in Michigan between 1 April and 1 November. If it wasn’t for family I’d never go back to Michigan.
I'm thinking about moving to TN. myself. I have a good friend that moved to Chattanooga a couple years ago - his wife transferred. They relocated because of her job to Bradenton, FL. about 7 years ago, then to TN. They love it in TN. The weather sounds awesome & it looks like a nice area.
