The iPhone 6 came out in 2014, making the OE battery 7 years old... Most cell phone batteries last 3-4 years before they start dropping in life span... Best bet is to get a battery from Apple, hopefully it will last another 7 years.. Or by that time 7G will be the cell phone protocol...
