I'm in the same boat. Have a Brother MFC-J615 all-in-one inkjet. Constant battle with ink. If you don't use the Brother ink cartridges, the head plugs up. I bought a flushing kit from Amazon and it worked real well...for a while. And then it was back to the same old crap, it wouldn't print color correctly. What is puzzling to me is that it will always print black but the colors....not so good.

So I'm also in the market for a home laser all-in-one. Those I have talked to say stay away from HP. Their printers are hit and miss. Have gotten a couple recommendations for Cannon but I'm still looking.
