While you may feel that way personally, perhaps a thread that was started by a guy who works and fights and struggles to be competitive with less resources than the hitters and a combination that is admittedly at a disadvantage, is not the best place to dump those thoughts.

Pro Stock, IMHO, is the pinnacle of gasoline powered, naturally aspirated, door slammer drag racing. Anyone who is able to do it successfully deserves some degree of respect.

I like Pro Stock. It's a builders/tuners game that also requires a driver who can make perfect runs. Every tiny detail makes a difference. I wish I could learn more about what makes them tick, but that info is kept close to the vest. Being too nosy gets you escorted to the door.

Nothing but respect for Alan and his tenacity. He's within a couple MPH which, to me, is no small achievement.


If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
