OK now my next question is why would someone go to the expense of Edelbrock heads and use factory style stamped steel non adjustable rockers? Seems counterintuitive to me
I honestly wondered the same in reverse. Why would someone use an adjustable valvetrain on a mild cam that didn't need it? Seen way too many failures with those cheap rockers and a good set can run $800. An alloy head anymore can be justified in the amount of money needed to overhaul a set of irons alone before even taking the other advantages into account.
