Ah, yes. Back in the day on the flight line my buddy got caught by a QA inspector for not using a torque wrench on a certain fastener. My buddy was so sure the torque was correct he went and got a torque wrench from the tool crib and tested the bolt. Sure enough, he was right on the money.

"Fine" the inspector told him. "I won't write you up for incorrect torque. So now just show me the current PMEL calibration sticker on your elbow." grin
