You have to remember that when the engine is running, the holes in the cam to feed the heads only line up for a split second every other revolution.

There is no flood of oil going to the top end with the interrupted factory thru-the-cam oiling when the engine is running.


But it floods nicely when you've got pressure up and your faithful assistant stops turning the crank because he burst out in laughter.
