Whats the best engine combo for a 9 second Duster?
Stroker 360. Stroker 400. Normal 440. Stroker 440.
Last but not least a HEMI!
Big difference if you want to run 9.90 or 9.10 Also, depends on track elevation, 6,000 feet or sea level (less than 1,000 ft).
For a high 9 sec at 3100-3200 lbs (with driver) I would consider a Gen 3 hemi. But with all my big block stuff, any 9 second would be a 511-540 CID stroker 440 wedge with Indy 440-1 heads. CNC ported.
