Hi, has anyone replaced their 10 ply race trailer tires with 14 ply? They don't seem to be that much more costly. Maybe they would be more durable? My trailer has a pair of 6,000 lb axles, and with my heaviest car and all my stuff in it, it's probably about 10,500 pound s. Other than the extra cost, is there any drawback to using 14 ply tires?
