I definitely took all advice. 3M primer, 3M butyl (I supplied both they had different brand butyl and no primer). Butyl both sides. Steele gasket this time Precision last time although Precision felt like very good quality. I try and keep out of the rain but I'll get caught in one. Right now I'm scraping the black plastidip off cowl as you can see and will sand and paint that area to protect and get back to wipers.
