Back in the day it was done quite often, longer rod (would push those 440 pistons out of the deck) SMALLER pin (some would remove the bushing and run the 1.09 pin) stronger crank. 440 piston is a lot lighter than a Hemi. Hemi stuff Wasn’t made of gold back then. And one didn’t have 8 different rods and cranks to chose from back then either. Not as dumb as you think
