You should have added the electricity to the expense. It still costs to charge it.


It does cost money to charge it but the cost is buried in the electric bill with no easy way to pull it out. I figure it costs $3 to fully charge the battery based on the local rate but I don't have any way to verify it. The charging cost is low enough that I never notice it in the monthly bill.


Wonder how much it would cost to install a separate meter for the car to see what it uses? There has to be a way to monitor it.


Somebody must make an inductive clamp device that can do this.
