There were no regular production factory sunroof cars built by Chrysler prior to the option being offered on 1969 Chargers. The earliest 1969 sunroof Charger in the registry is sunroof car number 7 which was built in the third week of October, 1968. There is one exception to this in my mind - Chrysler had ASC install a sunroof in a 1968 Charger for the purpose of photographing the option and advertising the new feature in the October issue of Car and Driver (Photo attached). Since Chrysler headquarters officially ordered it up, in my mind you could call it a factory sunroof car. This car has yet to surface.

Barry (Alaskan_TA) mentions a possible scenario for the car in this thread. Since the sunroof was a popular item over in Europe, and this car did see its final assembly across the pond - its possible that the sunroof was added before the car rolled out of the assembly area. If you could prove that was the case - it might add a little value, and add a little interest to the story of the car. But in the end, Chrysler headquarters did not originally designate that particular car to come with the sunroof option.
