Sorry I didn’t get to finish the thread, so here goes.

The nightmare part is after a twenty plus years resto on the Gtx, the 512ci engine went bad.
I was advised at the time that stroker motors are more trouble than they are worth!
Time has proved this, even using low comp dish pistons...

Now watching the disassembly of the C500 at Nick’s and the thousands of parts, my nightmare begins again!

Do I want to start another twenty year project?
A pensioner needs plenty to keep himself busy in his old age.
Not sure I have twenty years left on the Earth, but hey ho..

The more worrying part is the COST...

How much would a grade one resto cost in current times???
Would a measly UK pension cover the cost of this humongous project...
