I have a 1966 Dodge Coronet 2 door Deluxe Sedan that was a six cylinder 3 on the tree originally, I replaced the K member with one from a 1968 V8 B body to use the later headers and to slide the motor back into a stock location. I also replaced the front drum brakes with a disc brake kit from U.S.S.B.C. and replaced all the wear items, ball joints, bushing and so on. I don't remember having the same issues with those bushing on that car that your having now on yours work
