I don't get it... Isn't the same suregrip than Power lock ?

I know Ford names it Limited Slip, GM Positraction and Mopar Suregrip, but then... Borg-Wagner and Dana gave their own names for the same pieces?

If so... a the same Dana "Power Lock" mounted on a Mopar is a "Sure Grip", but on a Ford is a ¨"Limited Slip ? 3 diff names for just one single piece LOL
