Read on a couple pages, take it as you will:
1958-1969 used the Dana Power-Lok (# 2881487) 1969-1974 used the Borg Warner Spin Resistant (# 2881343)
(Source: 1984 Direct Connection Chassis Book) 9 ¾ AKA Dana 60 The early rear ends were 23 tooth "Power Lok" (1966 - 1969) differentials. In 1970 the 9 ¾ went to 35 tooth axle shafts and were called "Track Lok" differentials. Dana Power Lok, 1962 - 1969 which are rebuildable (clutch packs) Borg-Warner Spin Resistant, Late 1969 - 1974 which are not rebuildable (cone type)

Ok. I have a question. All the Danas I’ve built so far have the Power Lok. I’ve got a 73 Dana rebuilt by DoctorDiff. It has a Track Lok. I’ve got a 70 b body from a charger that has never had the cover off. So your saying it should have the Track Lok and all ebodies as well? I was considering cutting this 73 Dana down to ebody width. I can’t seem to give it away as a 73 b body. I’ve got extra axles and a Power Lok but they are 68 b body.

I don't get it... Isn't the same suregrip than Power lock ?
I know Ford names it Limited Slip, GM Positraction and Mopar Suregrip, but then... Borg-Wagner and Dana gave their own names for the same pieces?
If so... a the same Dana "Power Lock" mounted on a Mopar is a "Sure Grip", but on a Ford is a ¨"Limited Slip ? 3 diff names for just one single piece LOL

Notice the years an axle lengths of those. They never came in any production car. They were sold over the counter as Direct Connection items for building race cars. IF I remember correctly they had 44" or 52" housings and fit cars that had the springs moved into the frame rails.
