FWIW...FTI has a good reputation around here. A friend of mine that has a pretty fast Nova and has raced for years recently got a converter from them and is very happy w/ it.
Adding 250 hp and who knows how much torque is definitely gonna loosen up the converter. Get one built for your combo.
