If you don't want to think, but want to improve your diet there are some basic rules. Try to stick to food. Things you can look at and actually know where they came from. You can't grow an oreo. Keep your protein up, each meal have a protein portion. What's protein? Something that used to make noise but doesn't now because it's on your plate. Try not to take in excess calories through liquids. Stick to no calorie drinks or water. Start there and you should get yourself on the right path.
