I've tried a dozen suggestions from various forums trying to save money on ultrasonic soap but none of them have worked for me. I get great results buying the real stuff from someone that sells ultrasonics. Remember, different metals might require different soap. On old Holley carbs the throttle plate is aluminum but the rest is zinc.
