After reading these post's I will not install the Cloyes timing chain that i purchased a while back for my Future block, Now im waiting on the CS5150 rollmaster that i just ordered.


Wise choice. Years ago when I freshened up my hemi I found some metal chunks in the oil pan. Didn't know where they came from initially...motor was running perfect. After looking over everything, I found the timing chain center links were breaking apart and the pieces were piling up in the oil pan. Luckily they weren't small enough to make it though the oil pickup. It was the expensive billet Cloyes Hex-a-just timing set.
Replaced it w/ a Rollmaster and it's been fine ever since.
