Mopar moved the frame mounting tabs over the years. You need to mount the calipers correctly so the bleeder is pointed up and you want the brake hose to cross over the LCA if possible rather than loop down or up.


It really doesn't matter which calipers you have (A or F body). As long as the bleeder is up. You just have to ignore what the box says about which caliper goes on which side.


Hose routing is different on some calipers so that is another variable that has to be watched out for. The late FMJ stuff was designed to be rear hung. Some of the earlier calipers were designed to be front hung. I've seen a lot of cars at show and shines with screwed up brake lines. People have bleeders pointing down, brake lines with kinks in them, etc.
