Everything starts with a T.O.N. (truck order number) which is exactly like the order number on the car side except that it shows up on the fender tag. No clue what went down the assembly line with the build in progress but I've never seen a car style build sheet. The t
hing ya did get was a "Equipment Identification" label on the bottom side of the hood showing all the option codes installed w/ handy english translations. The T.O.N. may also appear on the door jamb sticker.

Trucks have a build sheet. It is a "Warren Truck Building Order". My original Roundup pkg. truck that I bought in late '78 had 3 (duplicates) and I have a LRE that came with 2. It does seem that probably many trucks got out the door with none.
I can post one if anyone is interested.
