Speaking of free.......

I had a bunch of house paint, 2x4's and 2X6's (cut down), pieces of plywood, some base board trim and a couple of batts of attic insulation. All of it was good, but I couldn't get a nibble no matter what price I put on it.

So, one day, I loaded it all into the back of my Dakota, backed up to the curb in front of the house and put a FREE sign on it stating to take everything but the truck. I put a free ad on CL and FB for it too.

Not expecting much, once I had it all set up, I left to run errands.

Less than an hour later, my neighbor called me and said I better come home and move my truck before that gets taken too. He described the scene like dropping fresh meat into a school of piranhas. According to him, over a dozen people showed up at pretty much the same time, and there was almost a fight over the paint!

They even took my 'free' sign I had made.
