If you have the room a one inch merge type of spacer will work great on that intake. If you don't have the room then it will still work fine with the Dominator bolted right to the flange.


Thanks Andy. I am not sure when or if I am going to put it on.... The victor intake on the motor now needed some massaging to get it to fit due to the heads being cut pretty far and I am not so sure I want to cut/massage this nice intake to fit as nice. I have a fresh 493 in the shop with a hydraulic roller that it would work really nice on for a motor swap over the winter. I am trying to decide what to do. The 493 is a pump gas 10.4 to 1 motor and is likely making more power than the motor in it now, but likely not by much.


Yeah I wouldn't cut the new intake to fit old heads when you're going to change engines anyway. Just put it on the 493 and start fresh. I think you'll be happy with that combo.
