That's because it's a hodge-podge of a Chevy throttle arm and a Ford style kickdown linkage. Why Holley chose that combination we'll likely never know, but that was how they rolled on aftermarket 'universal' carbs. And, Chevy Holley carbs used the three digit date codes while the Mopar Holleys used the four digit date codes. Another mystery we will likely never know why.....
