Holley carb question with pic

What are the items on the front fuel bowl with the arrows pointing to them? I've had a lot of 4150 series Holley carbs but not one with a fuel bowl set up like this. Model number is 3310 on this carb. thanks

Looks just like the center bowl on 70-71 six packs, but may be used on others too.

The flap in the center is a bowl vent, the pipe coming out of the side I think goes to
the muti-orificed? breather on the valve cover??? Part of the cleaner air system spaghetti?...been a long time....

Yup, bowl venting, and looks like an OEM application, likely GM or Ford.
I don't recall an OEM Mopar application for a 3310.
Google the list # , you may have something valuable there.

The first 3310 was used on 1965 SS396 Chevelles. Only 201 of them were produced, and the oem 3310's had different float bowls (a different mold than the ones used on cathedral float Holley carbs now) and a different stamping format for the date on the air horn.

choke tower reads " LIST -3310-1" and under that is "1293" im told the 1293 is the date code and 4 digit date code wasn't used until 1973. I see no OEM manufacture type numbers. I was trying to find out if this was a desirable carb with an OEM application but doesn't look like by the numbers im coming up with. Looks to be a universal 750 vac secondarys.

Someone told you wrong. This is a picture of my oem 69 a12 carb with a 4 digit code of 0729. That could be a bowl from a mid 70 six pack. I’ve got lots of them. That has a newer plastic vacuum secondary cover.

Maybe it was assembled long ago from multiple parts laying around at the time ?
IIRC, the plastic diaphragm cover is a later thing, I think 1980s ?
Which would be past the time of OEM application.
But it could have been replaced, too.

Is there a way to verify if the front bowl is something desirable? as in from a 6 pack car etc?

Also looks like a manual choke set-up.
The driver's side linkage is foreign to me too.

The linkage looks like typical 3310 with large hole in shaft as GM.I would "assume" it's a early 3310 with a 70 or later bowl.

That's because it's a hodge-podge of a Chevy throttle arm and a Ford style kickdown linkage. Why Holley chose that combination we'll likely never know, but that was how they rolled on aftermarket 'universal' carbs. And, Chevy Holley carbs used the three digit date codes while the Mopar Holleys used the four digit date codes. Another mystery we will likely never know why.....

3310-1 has downleg boosters and was rated 780cfm.

3310-2 (and up) has straight boosters and was/is rated 750cfm.

None of them used the primary bowl shown. The bowl shown definitely came from another carb.

The weird looking linkage addition on the driver's side is for ford kickdown, like many of holley's universal carbs have had

Original 3310-1 carbs have a following so you can sell it on ebay even if the front bowl is wrong. Someone will want it even if it is just for parts.
