I hope that is all it is. I had a similar case pop up out of no where. Everything was fine and after a high rev the pressure dropped from 75 to next to nothing at idle. Shut it down and let it sit and let oil drain back to the pan. Checked oil and added 1/2 quart and had 55 psi @ idle again??? When it ran for a while it would slowly lose pressure turned out to be the pickup was cracked where it screwed into the block and it would lose suction as more oil got stranded in the heads and the oil level would be under the crack. When full it was actually sucking oil threw the crack and keeping it from losing it's prime.
