In these crazy times with dealerships offering to bring a new car to you, ect.....

Would it be a stretch to ask a dealer or tell a dealer if he wanted to sell me a 9k used cars hes probably making 3k on he needs to drive two hours to make the deal?

This guy may have 20-25 newer used cars on his lot.

Maybe its just me but isnt a 3k profit nearly more then hed make off a new car sale?

Im just thinking in these hard financial times????? I told him I had concerns buying without looking it over or driving and asked about any warranty, he said when the papers are signed its done, as is. Its 5 years old with 85k miles.

Id be willing to zap the guy $500 before he makes the trip? I can call my bank and put him on the phone and they can do the transfer while we do the paperwork or?

Am I that far off?
