I disagree after having one intake and a set of cast aluminum valve covers powder coated on one of my old race motors, that coating holds the heat into the parts horribly, not worth doing on any motor you want to make power, cooler air and fuel make more power work twocents

Maybe... but I'll be running e85, and have a fresh air scoop. I'm not worried about a few degrees of supposed heat retention. Whatever floats your boat.
