Ok. It's not like I haven't painted anything before, but I am stumped. I'm redoing my 6 way seat adjuster and bucket seat frames. I degreased, blasted everything to bare metal, and then shot it all with clear lacquer thinner to the point that it ran off the stuff. My problem is some places the paint laid down real nice and others it fish-eyed or bubbled. I striped some parts again and reshot them. Same problem. I'm using Rustoleum gloss black. I never had this problem before. What did I miss or ??? Should I have hit it with Acetone before painting? I really don't want to redo the whole thing, but I will need to to make it look nice. Or should I just have everything powder coated?
