I had my front and rear seat frames powder coated. It might seem like overkill to some folks, but the cost of having them blasted and powder coated was reasonable. Also, it;s the best way to assure that all nooks and crannies are covered. I did not powder coat the tracks. It's best to disassemble, clean, grease, reassemble and then paint.
