Mine is a snap-on, it still needs a squeeze in a vice or with c-clamp on the tough ones. A few drops of 85w-140 gear lube on the threads and where the tip rotates helps a bunch. I actually rented a front suspension set at advance, pulled 5 pitman arms, stripped 3 k-frames, and got all the ball joints and drag links apart with just gear oil on the threads, a little heat, and a light hammer tap, no damage to parts, was impressed with that puller set to be honest. I broke my snap-on pulling the gold pulley off of a new, not reman carquest alternator, toughest pulley I have ever seen. So all pullers will break.
