Welcome to Country Living. I know what you mean, but if there was 24/7 no-sweat everything, that seems tied to population density.
Which brings all the BS that comes with it.
Things like good cable & internet service are an issue when the market is small.
I'm 4 miles from a town of under 10,000, and in some ways, it's very different as far as convenience & choices.
Took me a while to get some things figured out, and to become very self-sufficient, but I don't think I could ever live in a suburb again, let alone a city.
