When we were full-time RVers I had an antenna (still have it, AAMOF) that I put on the ladder and connected to a router in the camper. Worked great and the signal I was picking up was about 250 ft. away. I forget what the range was on it.
Not the one I have but works the same and says good for 300-400 ft. and several walls.
